GRAMMY-award-winning singer-songwriter and actress Lainey Wilson has unveiled her latest track, ‘Country’s Cool Again,’ setting the stage for her upcoming headlining international tour. The highly anticipated single offers a glimpse into Wilson’s Southern roots and celebrates the timeless allure of country music.
With her distinctive songwriting voice and a blend of Rock, Americana, and Country influences, Wilson brings a fresh perspective to the Western genre in ‘Country’s Cool Again.’ Co-written by the acclaimed ‘Heart Wranglers’ Trannie Anderson and Dallas Wilson, along with Wilson’s band leader Aslan Freeman, the track is produced by GRAMMY-award-winning producer Jay Joyce.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, Wilson shares, “This track is an ode to my upbringing and the story of my journey in this industry – where I have been and where I am now.” ‘Country’s Cool Again’ pays homage to the 90s Country lifestyle, offering listeners a nostalgic glimpse into Wilson’s roots and the Western way of life.
