Season 3 of ‘Astrid’ is coming to More4 and C4 Streaming in March courtesy of Walter Presents.
Our crime-solving duo, Astrid and Raphaëlle kick off series three with a bewildering case of an astrophysicist who dies from a lightning strike without a storm in sight. True to form, the case quickly becomes more urgent when an unknown source leaks information about the investigation to the press, resulting in increased public scrutiny for the police.
Meanwhile, Astrid’s position on the murder squad is in jeopardy and the team do everything in their power to convince authorities to let her stay. To complicate matters further, our heroines tackle even more personal battles throughout this season.
After a bitter break-up, Raphaëlle is ready for a new relationship and has her sights set on Nicholas. And for the first time, Astrid begins to contemplate a romantic relationship. Could Tetsuo be her first boyfriend? Expect more complex cases set in unusual settings as our heroines challenge conspiracy theorists, penetrate a community of Native Americans, uncover the secrets of a monastery, investigate a psychiatric hospital, and come face-to-face with a dangerous figure from Astrid’s past.
The series is created by Laurent Burtin and Alexandre de Seguins. It stars Sara Mortensen and Lola Dewaere.
