Walter Presents is bringing Belgian political crime drama ‘Pandora’ to the UK in February.
The 10-part series stars Salomé Richard, Peter Van den Begin and Anne Coesens. It is created by Savina Dellicour and Vania Leturcq.
When forced to choose between the law and her family, established judge Claire immediately sides with her career. This proves catastrophic for her own family relations when it results in the investigation for fraud of her own father, a prominent political party leader who collapses with shock when Claire confronts him at his 75th birthday party. Politician Mark Van Dyck seizes this opportunity and begins his campaign for party leader.
Meanwhile, a group of young women enact a shocking and explicit protest at a local press conference. One of the protesters, Ludi, narrowly escapes security at the venue but falls into the hands of a malicious gang with devasting consequences. Shockingly the attack is filmed and posted online.
Fuelled by anger, Claire begins her hunt for the perpetrators and seeks to prosecute anyone complicit in the crime, including the person responsible for posting the attack. Unbeknownst to her, this investigation opens up a Pandora’s box of political corruption.
Walter Presents: ‘Pandora’ will launch on Channel 4 at midnight on 25th February 2024. The full boxset will be available on C4 Streaming from Friday 23rd February.
