Yellowstone’s Luke Grimes releases new ‘Spotify OUTSIDE’ version of ‘Burn’

Luke Grimes, the talented artist signed with Mercury Nashville / Range Music, has just released a special rendition of his song ‘Burn’ as part of Spotify’s newest video series, OUTSIDE. The OUTSIDE series, a video-first initiative by Spotify, showcases artists performing their original music in unique outdoor locations of their choosing. Grimes chose Nashville as the backdrop for his performance, providing fans with an intimate and visually stunning experience.

The new video for ‘Burn (Spotify OUTSIDE Version) – Live from Nashville’ is available for viewing on the Spotify Global YouTube channel, offering a fresh perspective on the hit track. The audio version is also accessible on Spotify for those who prefer to enjoy the song in its pure musical form. Watch below:

Expressing his gratitude, Grimes shares, “I’m really grateful to the good folks at Spotify and the OUTSIDE team for allowing us to bring a new perspective to ‘Burn’ and giving fans a unique way to experience the song.”

Luke Grimes burst onto the music scene with his debut track, ‘No Horse To Ride,’ which immediately claimed the No. 7 position on the Country Songs sales chart. Spotify recognised the song’s impact by featuring it on the cover of its Country Hits 2023 playlist, holding the prestigious No. 1 position, and achieving placements on eight Spotify Viral Charts.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Grimes is widely recognized for his role as Kayce Dutton on the acclaimed television series, ‘Yellowstone.’ Despite his success on screen, Grimes has been actively making music for years, and fans can anticipate the release of his first full-length album this spring. In 2023, he concluded a successful tour, including sold-out shows and performances at renowned festivals such as Stagecoach, Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival, and Under the Big Sky Festival. Grimes is set to make a triumphant return to Stagecoach in April 2024.

When not on set, Grimes dedicates time to his passion for music by spinning his favorite country albums. He also engages in songwriting, collaborating with Music Row’s elite, including Jonathan Singleton, Tony Lane, Randy Montana, Brent Cobb, Jamey Johnson, Love Junkies, Josh Osborne, Jon Randall, and Jessie Alexander.
