Scotty McCreery ignites 2024 with rowdy new 90s-esque song ‘Can’t Pass the Bar’

Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery is welcoming the new year with a burst of new music, as he releases his lively track ‘Can’t Pass the Bar’ to fans. The boisterous song is available for listening right now at the top of this page.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the song, McCreery shared, “I grew up loving ‘90s country music, especially the barn burning songs. I wanted one of my own, so I got together with some of my buddies and we wrote it. Can’t wait to perform this song live on the Cab in a Solo Tour.”

Written by McCreery along with Brent Anderson, Cale Dodds, and Frank Rogers, and produced by Rogers, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis, “Can’t Pass the Bar” is a rollicking ode to the working man. The song captures McCreery celebrating the end of a long week with a trip to the bar with his buddies, delivering an anthemic tribute to the blue-collar spirit.

This latest release comes on the heels of a remarkable 2023 for McCreery. His current radio single, ‘Cab in a Solo,’ achieved the most first-week adds at country radio (120) of his career and is rapidly climbing the charts, currently sitting in the Top 20 on both Mediabase (#17) and Billboard (#20). In addition, McCreery was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame and fulfilled a childhood dream by joining the Grand Ole Opry at the invitation of country music icon Garth Brooks.

Scotty McCreery is set to embark on his 2024 headlining Cab in a Solo Tour later this month, featuring direct support from Anne Wilson and additional support from Greylan James and Noah Hicks on select dates. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off at Hobart Arena in Troy, OH on Jan. 26, 2024, and will traverse the U.S. with stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, and more.

Tickets for the Cab in a Solo Tour are now on sale at ScottyMcCreery.com. Early sales indicate that the first three shows are nearly sold out, so fans are encouraged to secure their tickets promptly.
