It’s almost time to welcome ‘Gladiators’ back to our screens and ahead of the show’s launch this weekend, a series of new images have been released of the Gladiators.
The new series sees 16 brand new Gladiators joining the show and they’ll be hoping to beat the contestants and stop them winning the challenges throughout each episode. You can see all of the new images in our gallery below:
‘Gladiators’ is hosted by father-son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh. Guy Mowbray will be providing the voiceover commentary on all the action for the show and ex-Premier League Football referee Mark Clattenburg is taking on one of the most iconic catchphrases of the 90s. Picking up their whistles and joining him to keep the mighty Gladiators in check, are, Sonia Mkoloma and Lee Phillips.
With just days to go until the show returns to our screens, it looks like ‘Gladiators’ is going to pay loving homage to the original UK series and it should be a nostalgia-fest for those of us who grew up with the show.
‘Gladiators’ airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from Saturday 13th January at 5.50pm.
