While the holiday season may have come to a close, RECORDS Nashville artist-songwriter George Birge is still basking in the glow of a significant milestone — securing his inaugural Country radio #1 with his debut single, ‘Mind On You.’
Crafted in collaboration with fellow songwriters Jaron Boyer, Michael Tyler, and Colt Ford, the hypnotic late-night anthem has soared to the top of the Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country Airplay chart this week. This achievement, along with other notable accolades, firmly establishes Birge as an undeniable rising star in the country music scene.
In an impressive crossover to the all-genre realm, ‘Mind On You’ not only marked Birge’s debut on the Billboard Hot 100 list, entering at #88, but also earned him recognition on the all-format Radio Songs chart, securing a spot in the Top 20. Billboard highlighted the song’s success, citing 31.6 MILLION radio airplay audience impressions and 1.1 MILLION U.S. streams for the previous week.
Taking to social media to share his excitement, Birge expressed gratitude to his supporters: “My FIRST NUMBER ONE on the LAST day of the year… Y’all I have dreamed of this day my entire life, and there were at least a hundred sleepless nights where I thought it might never come true.
