After a stellar autumn opening, the newly reimagined UK tour of ‘Calendar Girls the Musical’, penned by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth, is set to captivate audiences in 2024. Catch the show at Churchill Theatre Bromley from Wednesday, January 10, to Saturday, January 13, 2024!
As Tim Firth puts it, “The film is twenty years old this year, the real girls more than twenty years older but their story, like their sunflowers, seems to keep reseeding of its own accord; and when it does, the flower is always, always the same. It’s only the shape that changes.”
‘Calendar Girls the Musical’ brings together a stunning cast of music, stage, and television stars. Baring it all in 2024 are Laurie Brett (EastEnders), Helen Pearson (Hollyoaks), Samantha Seager (Coronation Street), Maureen Nolan (The Nolans, Blood Brothers), Lyn Paul (The New Seekers, Blood Brothers), Honeysuckle Weeks (Foyle’s War). They are joined by Liz Carney, Colin R Campbell, Andrew Tuton, Jayne Ashley, and Victoria Hay.
Featuring memorable melodies, each show contributes to the ongoing millions raised for Blood Cancer UK, affirming that every woman is truly extraordinary.
