Walter Presents is delivering its first binge-watch of the year on Friday with the release of ‘The Wagner Method’ season 2.
Created by Sebastien Paris and Eric Verat, the show stars Gil Alma, Olivia Côte, Coralie Russier and Etienne Diallo.
Captain Cesar Wagner is back to solve a series of shocking murders. After being transferred to Strasbourg’s judicial police department in eastern France, police captain Cesar Wagner settles in with his new team. The series begins with the murder of a nature photographer and keen animal activist who is found with multiple stab wounds in a nearby wood. It’s a brutal attack and the evidence appears to lean towards a local hunter being the killer.
However, as Captain Wagner soon discovers, there’s more to this case than meets the eye. In the next episode, Wagner is investigating the sudden death of a young actor during an audition at Stasbourg’s national theatre. It appears as though the boy was poisoned. Wagner must determine if this crime was driven by homophobia, a rivalry among students, or some other motive. During these investigations, Wagner continues to battle with his hypochondria whilst confronting old ghosts from the past.
