Anto Dust will perform a headline show at The Lexington on 1st December 2023, supported by Cosmic Strip and presented by White Heat.
Anto Dust, a musical venture led by Anto Cossu, a musician, film composer, and Ivors Academy songwriter hailing from the Italian island of Sardinia, has consistently wowed audiences with their memorable melodies and captivating lyrics. The band’s latest song ‘Sinners Sing’ showcases their natural talent for weaving enchanting compositions, and their live performance is expected to be no less enthralling.
Anto Dust’s musical journey began in London, and since then, Antonio Perry on lead guitar, Dave Roberts on drums, and Eleanor Gall on keyboards and backing vocals have joined Anto to form a dynamic quartet. They’ve recorded two EPs together and performed in and out of the UK, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Lee Mavers from The La’s, Pete Doherty and Carl Barat from the Libertines, Jon McClure from Reverend and The Makers, Jonny Borrell from Razorlight, Drew McConnell from Babyshambles, and Liam Gallagher’s band. The band has even supported Fleetwood Mac at the London O2 Arena, attesting to their musical prowess and stage presence.
Following a hiatus caused by family illness during the Covid-19 pandemic, Anto Dust is back with two new tracks, one of which was featured in the multi-awarded short film ‘Blueberry Smoothie’ by Darren Lee Murphy. Moreover, the band is currently in the process of recording their first full album in collaboration with renowned producers Robert L Smith, known for his work with Paul McCartney, David Bowie, and Lady Gaga, and Gordon Raphael, famous for his production with The Strokes.
