Sylvester Stallone documentary ‘Sly’ coming to Netflix on Friday

Film icon Sylvester Stallone is the subject of new Netflix documentary ‘Sly’, which debuts on the streamer this Friday.

For nearly 50 years Sylvester Stallone has entertained millions with iconic characters and blockbuster franchises, fromĀ ‘Rocky’Ā toĀ ‘Rambo’Ā toĀ ‘The Expendables’. This retrospective documentary offers an intimate look at the Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director-producer, paralleling his inspirational underdog-story with the indelible characters he has brought to life.

The trailer for the documentary features the man himself along with plenty of archive footage from across his incredible career. Directed by Thom Zimny (‘The Gift: The Journey of Johnny Cash’) with interviews from contemporaries like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Quentin Tarantino, as well as exclusive access to the man himself, ‘Sly’ is part retrospective and part Hollywood nostalgia.Ā 

‘Sly’ will premiere on Netflix on Friday 3rd November 2023.
