Rick Astley has released his new single ‘Forever and More’ taken from his number 2 charting album ‘Are We There Yet?’.
The song arrives ahead of Astley’s two sold-out headline shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall this week. The icon performed the song live on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ over the weekend, and you can see that at the top of this article.
‘Forever and More’ follows the previous singles “Dippin’ My Feet” and ‘Never Gonna Stop’. The song is more moody and soulful as Astley tells the story of a fleeting love interest who arrives and departs in a flurry of drama.
Astley says, āāForever And Moreā is about someone special leaving your life because you did not make the effort and you were too late appreciating how amazing the person was.ā
Astley has played some intimate shows in recent weeks in celebration of āAre We There Yet?ā, mixing brand new songs, his rich catalogue of hits and select crowd-pleasing covers such as āAs It Wasā by Harry Styles. He will follow this weekās Royal Albert Hall shows with a set at the all-star Magic of Christmas extravaganza alongside Emeli SandĆ©, Simply Red and Texas. His plans for 2024 then get underway with a huge UK arena tour, which has already seen select show sell-out months in advance. Tickets for the dates, listed below, are available HERE:
