French-Canadian series ‘The Sketch Artist’ is coming to C4 Streaming this week courtesy of Walter Presents.
The series stars Rachel Graton, Sophie Lorain, Rémy Girard and Adrien Belugou, and is created by André Gulluni , Alexis Durand-Brault, Yan Lanouette-Turgeon and Sophie Lorain.
Set in Montreal, this gripping crime procedural follows a gifted police sketch artist, Eve Garance (Rachel Graton), as she uses her unique abilities to catch dangerous criminals on the loose. Eve has an extraordinary ability to capture an exact likeness of perpetrators using the somewhat-unreliable memories of traumatised victims.
The series begins with the disturbing disappearance of a 10-year-old girl which reopens an old investigation into one of the city’s most heinous crimes. Against the clock, the investigating team race to uncover more evidence to ensure that they find the victim unharmed and stop the perpetrator from striking again.
But as the team get closer to the truth, they realise that there is more to this case than meets the eye. Worse still, this disappearance brings up awful memories for Eve, who appears to have gone through some recent trauma. As the series progresses Eve must battle with her own anxiety whilst using her talent to catch violent criminals. Will she resolve her own issues along the way, or will her troubles hinder her work?
Walter Presents: ‘The Sketch Artist’ will be available on C4 Streaming as a full boxset from Friday 27th October 2023.
