Jade Eagleson has released his traditional Country-steeped new single ‘Rodeo Queen’.
A taster of what’s to come from his forthcoming album, ‘Rodeo Queen’ honours the traditional Country music that Eagleson grew up on. The song was written by Eagleson with Daryl Scott and it brings back a classic Cowboy lifestyle that embraces a high-energy tempo in this western swing-inspired track.
“I was able to attend my first rodeo after leaving my small farming town, the energy was undeniable and that was the inspiration behind this new song,” said Eagleson. “I wanted to remind everyone how much fun Country music can be and I hope when they hear it they grab a partner and hit the dance floor. This track is definitely going to be a favorite to play live this summer.”
Eagleson will be making his rounds through the festival circuit this spring and summer at already announced shows including The Calgary Stampede, Cavendish Beach Music Festival, LASSO, Quonset Days and Meadows Music Festival. With much more new music coming over the next few months, fans will have no shortage of fresh tracks to tap their toes to all summer long.
Eagleson has made quite the mark on the Country music scene in his short years, boasting over 270m global streams and 105M+ views on YouTube since the debut of his self-titled album (2020). He is also currently the only male Canadian Country artist to ever land three back-to-back No.1s off only his sophomore release, ‘Honkytonk Revival’, following in the footsteps of his longtime hero Shania Twain, the only other Canadian Country artist in history to achieve the feat.
