Charles Esten announces his debut album release with new song ‘One Good Move’

Charles Esten surprised fans on CBS’ THE TALK with the live announcement of his new song ‘One Good Move’. It is now available for pre-save/pre-add and releasing March 3. More than 10 years after arriving in Nashville the heartfelt romantic rocker will also be releasing a forthcoming independent debut album.

Co-written by Esten with Sam Bacicoff, Zarni deVette, and Elise Hayes, ‘One Good Move’ is a reflective power ballad with a soul-baring story, describing a misspent youth that paid off in the end. Dedicated to his college sweetheart and wife of 31 years, Patty, the transformative track produced by Marshall Altman puts Esten’s smouldering vocal in the spotlight, backing it with a powerful rhythm section, dreamy guitars, and a poignant piano to capture a life-changing true love. All told, it’s an expertly crafted balance of Country heart and Rock sophistication, and it points toward things to come.
