Ahead of his appearances at this year’s C2C festival in March, Thomas Kavanagh has released his new song, ‘Who Am I Gonna Love’ today (Feb 13th). It’s a duet with Nashville’s Kirstie Kraus, the first duet either artist has ever done.
‘Who Am I Gonna Love’ was co-written with country artist Krystal King during one of Kavanagh’s visits to Nashville. The two songwriters sat down to write on a hot day in Nashville outside by a tree. Then, a few weeks later, recorded the worktape outside of the famous Listening Room Cafe.
Krystal then sent her friend Kirstie Kraus the worktape and Kirstie quickly jumped on the idea of being a part of the song and recording it as a duet. ‘Who Am I Gonna Love’ was inspired by Thomas’ thoughts and questions to himself through his quest for love.
‘Who Am I Gonna Love’ is the first duet either artist has ever released and they hope it warms listeners’ hearts and makes them feel not alone in their feelings around Valentines Day.
