If you fancy something a bit different on the big screen, you might want to consider the quirky new action comedy ‘Polite Society’, which has just debuted its trailer.
The film is written and directed by Nida Manzoor and stars Priya Kansara, Ritu Arya, Nimra Bucha, Akshay Khanna, Seraphina Beh and Ella Bruccoleri.
A merry mash up of sisterly affection, parental disappointment and bold action, ‘Polite Society’ follows martial artist-in-training Ria Khan who believes she must save her older sister Lena from her impending marriage. After enlisting the help of her friends, Ria attempts to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood.
‘Polite Society’ is produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Olivier Kaempfer and executive produced by John Pocock.
The film will be released in cinemas on 28th April 2023 and you can watch the trailer at the top of this article.
