‘Finding Alice’ renewed for a second series at ITV

Keeley Hawes’ hit drama ‘Finding Alice‘ has been recommissioned for a second series by ITV.

The news was announced by ITVā€™s Head of Drama, Polly Hill. ‘Finding Alice’ was created by Roger Goldby, Keeley Hawes and Simon Nye and produced by Red Production Company in association with Bright Pictures TV, Buddy Club Productions and Genial Productions.

Executive Producers will once again be Roger Goldby, Keeley Hawes, Simon Nye and Nicola Shindler alongside Sarah Doole for Red Production Company. 

Airing on ITV during January and February, ‘Finding Alice’Ā is currently averaging 7.0m viewers across all devices including 1.8 million watching pre-broadcast across all platforms.

To dateĀ ‘Finding Alice’Ā has had 10.9m programme streams since being made available on the ITV Hub, with an average of 1.4m viewers per episode.Ā Ā 

The series, currently still available for viewers to catch up via the ITV Hub, focuses upon Aliceā€™s honest, raw, blackly comic journey of grief, love and life after the death of her husband Harry.

Following his accidental sudden death, Alice finds herself in the midst of a storm of secrets, debt, suspicion and criminality which she has been forced to confront in order to survive.

Filming for the new series ofĀ Finding AliceĀ will commence in February 2022.Ā Picking up a year on, the second series will explore the consequences of Alice deciding to have her dead husbandā€™s baby and the impact this decision has on her friends and family.
