We recently brought you the first info on the tenth season of The Walking Dead. That included some first-look images and showed off new characters Gamma (Thora Birch) and Virgil (Kevin Carroll).

FOX have now released their next tease of the upcoming season. This time we’ve been treated to a selection of 9 new images. You can check these out in the gallery below:

The new images don’t give too much away and seem to be focused mainly on the community of Alexandria. Michonne (Danai Gurira), Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) feature the most. The rest of the characters are also all familiar. Of note is a shot of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who is out of his cell and apparently doing a spot of gardening while under guard.

FOX have also announced some first details about a new character called Dante who will be played by Juan Javier Cardenas. He is described as a fast-talking rogue who plays a pivotal role in the story of Alexandria.

Showrunner Angela Kang previously announced that Dante would be joining the show. If you read the comics then you’ll have already met him. Interestingly he’s the love interest of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) in the comics. Does this mean we’ll be seeing Maggie back this season?

Keep checking back each week as EF Television will be bringing you all the latest on the upcoming season.

The Walking Dead returns to the UK on Monday 7th October at 9pm on FOX.
