The foursome arrived in Palm Springs for a party weekend courtesy of Barnabus (Kevin Daniels). Despite everyone being suspicious of Barnabus’ intentions towards Ford, Ford remained completely oblivious.

As Uly and Carly got used to their plush surroundings for the weekend, Ford took Severine for lunch and became quickly frustrated with how disinterested she was at being in Palm Springs with him. Uly and Carly took the time to catch some rays but they caught more than that when stranger Leif (RJ Mitte) came over to talk to Carly.

Confused when he briefly introduced himself and then left, Carly was annoyed that she didn’t ask him for his number. As they wandered around eating ice cream, Uly noticed that alien expert Mitchell Kent (Henry Rollins) was doing a book signing and he begged Carly to go.

The experience wasn’t what he hoped for though as Mitchell was incredibly rude, demanding that Uly buy a book or ‘fuck off’. Reading the room, Uly decided to leave but not before he bumped into the weird alien nerd from the café in a previous episode.

That evening Ford, Severine, Uly and Carly attended Barnabus’ party. Severine made little effort to speak to the group but she did have a moment with Carly, and then she told Ford she had to leave because something had come up at work. We could see from her phone screen that she’d been sent a photo of the mess the homeless woman had made in front of Uly last week.

Ford begged her to stay but Severine called a Lyft and left the party. Her behaviour made Ford pour his heart out to Barnabus and drink way too much. Barnabus helped Ford to his bedroom and he started to peel Ford’s clothes off as his eyes changed, suggesting he could well be an alien.

Carly bumped into Leif again and the two connected. She almost had sex with him in a car but admitted that it didn’t feel right because she had a boyfriend. That put an end to their quickly escalating hook-up but didn’t stop them from hanging out.

Uly meanwhile was offered a threesome, which he turned down, and then became drawn to spaced-out waitress Leesha (Cleopatra Coleman). He told her he was ‘mostly gay’ but she put her hand on his crotch and suggested his penis suggested otherwise. The two headed to the bathroom and had sex.

After their encounter, Leesha started pushing open all of the doors at the party, revealing couples having sex. They stumbled into the room that Barnabus was in with Ford, and Uly put a stop to his predatory behaviour. Uly carried Ford out while he went to get Carly, who was on Leif’s back with her top off play fighting with another couple in the pool.
