BluesFest returns this month

BluesFest returns to London’s O2 Arena in a few week’s time. The festival, which always features a stellar line-up will showcase high calibre shows from the likes of Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty, who will be performing his first UK headline show since 2008 with a Creedence Clearwater Revival greatest hits set, Grammy-winning Southern-rock phenomenon Zac Brown Band, multi-million-selling folk-rockers Counting Crows and multi-award-winning US vocalist Alison Krauss are all part of the acts confirmed for the 4 day event.

Launched in 2011, BluesFest has quickly become one of Europe’s leading roots music festivals and has since presented concerts from an array of stars from the worlds of blues, jazz, soul, pop and r&b.

Tickets for this year’s BluesFest can be bought via Live Nations official website. Fans should get their tickets now in order to avoid disappointment.

Thursday October 25th – John Fogerty (performing his songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival)

Friday October 26th – Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters

Saturday October 27th – Zac Brown Band

Plus Special Guests Don Bryant Feat. The Bo-Keys

Sunday October 28th – Counting Crows

Plus Very Special Guest Alison Krauss

Please note, Raphael Saadiq’s show at Indigo at The O2 on Friday October 26th has been cancelled.

In previous year’s artists such as BB King, Van Morrison, Robert Plant, Bobby Womack, Hall & Oates, Gregory Porter, Elvis Costello, Steely Dan, Dave Matthews Band, Bad Company, The Doobie Brothers, Jeff Beck, Mary J. Blige, Robert Cray, Tedeschi Trucks, Ronnie Wood, Maxwell, Mavis Staples, Chaka Khan, George Benson, Jamie Cullum, Chris Isaak, Tom Jones and Little Steven & The Disciples Of Soul and many others have graced the BluesFest stages.

BluesFest takes place at the O2 Arena between 25th and 28th October 2018.
