The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards took place last night in Las Vegas.
The night was an emotional one for everybody as it marked the first major Country music event in the city since the Route 91 Harvest festival shooting in October. Jason Aldean, who was performing at the time of the shooting, picked up the award for Entertainer of the Year marking his third consecutive win in the category.
During his acceptance speech, Aldean thanked his fans for their support following the tragedy and paid tribute to those who were killed and injured during his set.
