One of the hottest Christmas gifts this year is the PlayStation VR headset for PlayStation 4. Anyone getting one of those for Christmas is also going to want some compatible games to play.

We’ve picked ten of our favourite PlayStation VR games below. All of these need the PlayStation Camera as well as the headset in order to play them. We’ve listed the accessories that are required or optional for each title.

Batman: Arkham VR

Requires Move Controllers: Yes
Age Rating: 18+

Players can step into the cowl and become Batman in this VR experience from Rocksteady Studios. Experience Gotham City through the eyes of the World’s Greatest Detective in an all new Arkham mystery. Essential for Batman fans.

Dick Wilde

Requires Move Controllers: Yes, best experienced with PS VR Aim Controller
Age Rating:

Step into the shoes of Dick Wilde, a pest control specialist. Venture into the swamps with a variety of crazy custom weapons and teach the pesky critters a lesson. A great game to show off the optional PlayStation VR Aim Controller.

DOOM VFR

Requires Move Controllers: No
Age Rating: 18+

If you’re buying for a fan of driving or racing games then there’s no better gift than Gran Turismo Sport. Stunning visuals and super realistic, the game is even better with a PSVR headset. Resident Evil VII

One of the best Resident Evil games in years is now fully playable in PlayStation VR. Take the role of Ethan Winters, meet the creepy Baker family and search for your missing wife Mia. Scary fun.

Rez Infinite

Star Trek: Bridge Crew

Bridge Crew is an essential title for Star Trek fans. Take the role of Captain aboard your own starship. Give orders to your crew, travel the galaxy, rescue people and fight Klingons. It’s tough to master but very rewarding the more time you put into it.
