The first 40 of the series happened last night and it was awarded to Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice for their incredible Tango.
The dance was so good that Craig Revel Horwood got up from behind the judges’ desk and got down on his knees to show his appreciation. That’s a Strictly first isn’t it?
Hot on their heels with a spicy Cha Cha was Alexandra Burke and her partner Gorka Marquez. At this stage in the competition it’s looking like a bit of a two horse race isn’t it?
At the bottom of the table was Ruth Langsford and her partner Anton Du Beke who underwhelmed with their comedic Paso Doble. Surprisingly Aston Merrygold and Janette Manrara found themselves near the bottom of the leaderboard too after their Viennese Waltz.
