Farr festival reveals first wave of 2018 acts

Dixon and more are set to appear at the festival.

Farr Festival

Farr Festival has revealed details of its 2018 line-up and there is a weighty selection of record labels and institutions bringing the heat to Bygrave Woods. The initial acts joining in for summer 2018 are the likes of Dixon, Mr G and Optimo just to name a few.

Taking centre stage next year are Innervisions co-founder Dixon, Mahogani Music legend Moodymann, Running Back label founder Gerd Janson, Glasgow’s iconic DJ duo Optimo and LuckyMe family member Eclair Fifi.

Next year’s stage hosts are also very exciting with Mr G confirmed amongst others. For those that experienced his infectious live set of Detroit techno in 2017, Farr welcomes back Mr G to showcase his tongue-in-cheek G’s Spot stage. Joined by the very best of US and further afield producers, Mr G’s custom Funktion One sound system will also be back in the woods.

Farr’s long time friends Ransom Note, will take over festivities in the woods for three nights, presenting a selection of local and international talents from their discography. Sub Club legends JD Twitch and JG Wilkes are also set to curate a unique lineup “Optimo & Friends” on the Ransom Note stage, cementing their reputation as two of the finest selectors in the scene.

Additionally Inverted Audio have invited Bristol based imprint Bokeh Versions to present Campfire Headphase on the Sunday, set to explore the outer-national rhythms of dub, bass and reggae.

With only a few artists and stages partners announced, much more exciting news is set to be revealed. Limited early birds weekend tickets are on sale now.

The first wave of acts that have been revealed are below:
Dixon / Moodyman / Gerd Janso / Mr G (live) / Optimo / Eclair Fifi

Farr festival stage partners are the following:
