Arrow kicked off its sixth season in the UK last week and we finally found out who died in the explosion on Lian Yu.

Unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointment as only Samantha (Anna Hopkins) died, which most fans guessed when Oliver (Stephen Amell) was seen raising his son William (Jack Moore) in the previews for the season. The only other casualty was Thea (Willa Holland) who is comatose and has been for six months following the explosion.

With Oliver adjusting to life as a father, Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) wreaked havoc in Star City with a gang in tow. Quentin (Paul Blackthorne) struggled to harm or fight Black Siren as he couldn’t separate her from Laurel.

Meanwhile Rene (Rick Gonzalez) ended up being accidentally injured by Diggle (David Ramsey) during a battle with Black Siren’s gang, Oliver tried to connect with William after the boy revealed he was scared of him, and Rene got another hearing to reclaim custody of his daughter.

Slade (Manu Bennett) left Star City to find his son and told Oliver to choose between being a vigilante and being a father.

The next episode of the season is Tribute. Oliver struggles to balance being Green Arrow, mayor and William’s father, so it’s bad timing when Anatoly returns to Star City with a deadly agenda.
