Seal announces 2018 tour in support of new album Standards

British soul star Seal will tour the UK in 2018 in support of his 10th studio album Standards.

The jaunt will kick off in Edinburgh on Saturday 10th February and take in dates in Glasgow, Gateshead, Manchester, Brighton, Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham and London. Seal will be joined by a big band to sing selections from the album as well as his best-loved hits including Killer and Kiss from a Rose.

Seal said: ā€œItā€™s great being back in my home country, and touring with this album is going to be such an experience. We have a full big band ā€“ itā€™s going to be amazing.ā€

Standards sees Seal covering classics made popular by the likes of Frank Sinatra (Luck Be a Lady, I’ve Got You Under My Skin and It Was a Very Good Year), Nina Simone (I Put a Spell on You), Charlie Chaplin (Smile) and Cole Porter (Love For Sale).

The album has been produced by Nick Patrick with arrangements by Chris Walden and engineering by Don Murray.
