The premiere of Star Trek: Discovery is drawing ever close and Netflix is teasing us with the release of three new images.
The images show Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) and the vast magnificent landscape of the new series. Star Trek: Discovery has had its episode order increased from 13 to 15.
Star Trek: Discovery will follow the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself.
The series is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, Bryan Fuller’s Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Fuller, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg & Aaron Harberts, Akiva Goldsman, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers.
Star Trek: Discovery will arrive on Netflix everywhere, except the U.S. and Canada where it will air on CBS All Access, on 25th September 2017.
