Following a teaser posted on his social media channels, Kip Moore has confirmed that his new album Slowheart will be released on 8th September 2017.
The singer-songwriter revealed the news to Rolling Stone today. Moore co-wrote 11 out of the 13 tracks on the record and was the sole producer on seven of them. He also co-produced a further five tracks on the release.
For Slowheart Moore played guitar throughout the recording and sung the majority of the harmonies.
“This is the record I’ve been waiting to make,” said Moore. “The one that leaves you with a peace in your heart, knowing you did it exactly the way you wanted to. The one that makes it okay if you fail, because it truly came from your soul and no other place. You can’t go wrong if you can lay your head on your pillow with no regrets.”
Slowheart is the follow-up to 2015’s Wild Ones. It features Moore’s current single Girls Like You.
