Martine McCutcheon to release Lost and Found in August

Martine McCutcheon is making a return to music with her album in 15 years, Lost and Found.

Released on 11th August through BMG, Lost and Found is Martine’s first album since 2002’s Musicality which was a collection of covers from the theatre world. It’s been 17 years since Martine released Wishing, her second album of original material.

Lost and Found is co-written by Martine with her husband Jack McManus. The album also features a cover of The Police’s Every Breath You Take.

The album’s lead single is Say I’m Not Alone, which is described as ‘big, bold, brash, merging clanging guitars, thumping drums and a hard hitting lyric.’

ā€œLife brought this album about very gradually,ā€ explains Martine. ā€œIt was a really unconscious thing; I started writing the songs at a time in my life when Iā€™d lost everything.ā€
