Tom (Ryan Eggold) and Solomon (Edi Gathegi) went undercover as flight attendants on the latest episode of The Blacklist: Redemption.
Assigned to catch a team of thieves who were stealing valuable items from cargo during flights, the mission went a bit haywire when some of the criminals managed to escape from the plane. One of the thieves, Aldon Braddock (Jim Parrack), kidnapped a woman before jumping out of the plane.
Solomon was sucked out of the plane when the door was blasted off and clung to one of the group’s members who was injured. He used them to locate the rest of the group but when Tom and Nez (Tawny Cypress) went to the location, all of the thieves were dead except for Aldon.
They managed to track him down to a boat yard where he was keeping Jennifer (Emily Chang), the woman he kidnapped who was a former girlfriend and undercover agent, hostage. She ended up shooting Aldon in the head when he attacked Tom.
Meanwhile Tom started to wonder if Howard (Terry O’Quinn) was lying to him when he claimed comic books were being used to decipher a secret code that Scottie (Famke Janssen) was using. Just as he was about to come clean to Scottie about who he was, he saw a comic book in her office and he realised Howard may not be paranoid after all.
Scottie had located Howard and sent Solomon to pick him up.
The next episode of the season is Hostages. The Halycon team resort to a dangerous plan to save three hostages held to ransom. Plus, Tom risks exposing his identity in order to save Howard.
