Harry Judd to release book Get Fit, Get Happy

McFly star Harry Judd will release his new book Get Fit, Get Happy through the Coronet imprint of Hodder & Stoughton it has been announced.

The book will arrive in hardback this October. Get Fit, Get Happy is a combination of exercise and dance to help keep you fit mentally, as well as physically.

Part memoir, the book finds Harry sharing life lessons and a researched fitness plan to make you feel more positive. Harry has suffered through anxiety over the course of his life and other mental health issues, which he hasn’t talked about until now.

Harry Judd said: ā€˜Iā€™ve used exercise to overcome the strains and stresses of some of the most difficult moments in my life. These are issues that I know many of us have, and I’m so excited to show everyone how itā€™s possible to use exercise in a way that is fun, fast and free to get your head in the right place, to feel good about life and to feel great about yourself.ā€™

Coronet Publisher Charlotte Hardman said: ā€˜Harry is incredibly passionate about encouraging people to embrace fitness as a way to make themselves feel better and to spread a bit of happiness. By laying bare his own life story and sharing his own personal experience of the benefits of exercise, Harry will inspire others to do the same. He shows us that we donā€™t need expensive kit, a gym membership or even lots of time to make a difference: this is a plan for everyone. Iā€™m thrilled to be working with Harry and delighted about the potential for what we have to achieve together with Get Fit, Get Happy.ā€™

Over his career so far Harry has enjoyed success with McFly and McBusted. He also won Strictly Come Dancing.
