C2C: Country to Country 2017 – Brothers Osborne profile

Brothers Osborne – John and T.J. Osborne – were one of the breakthrough acts in Country music last year.

Born in Deale, Maryland Brothers Osborne moved to Nashville in the mid-2000s. They signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell and landed a recording contract with EMI Nashville.

The guys released their debut single Let’s Go There in 2013 followed by the catchy Rum in 2014. They enjoyed a huge breakthrough when their single Stay A Little Longer entered the Top 5 on the Hot Country Songs and US Country Airplay Charts. It went on to achieve platinum certification and solidified the duo as one of the most exciting new acts in the genre.

Brothers Osborne picked up a CMA Award for Vocal Duo of the Year in 2016 and their critically acclaimed debut album Pawn Shop reached number 3 on the US Country Chart.

Pawn Shop has spawned two more singles – 21 Summer and It Ain’t My Fault – both of which have made an impression on the charts. The duo also featured on David Nail’s track Good at Tonight from his 2016 album Fighter.

There’s a lot of buzz surrounding Brothers Osborne with Country music fans loving their hark back to Country tradition, while maintaining a modern edge. They will open up the main stage on the third and final day of C2C: Country to Country 2017 in London on Sunday 12th March.
