Maddie (Lennon Stella) ran away from home on the latest episode of Nashville.

Rayna (Connie Britton) found her daughter gone when she went to wake her up. In a bid to find her she went to see Cash (Jessy Schram) who denied that she was staying with her. That proved to be a lie and Maddie revealed herself after Rayna left.

With Deacon’s (Charles Esten) help, Rayna located Maddie at Cash’s but they were both shocked to hear that their daughter was filing for emancipation believing that her parents were standing in the way of her career. Cash had also told her about Rayna turning down a deal with Edgehill for her.

Elsewhere in the episode Avery (Jonathan Jackson) told Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) that he planned to take Cadence on the road with him, Thomas Rhett stood in for Luke’s (Will Chase) opening act, Juliette revealed herself to be Luke’s permanent support act for his tour, and Autumn (Alicia Witt) hit on Gunnar (Sam Palladio).
