Bruno Tonioli Presents An Italian Romance to be released in November

Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli will release An Italian Romance on 25th November 2016 through Decca Records.

Bruno’s first album release sees him curating the finest songs from the Italian songbook. The collection reveals Bruno’s lifelong passion for music and features heartfelt tracks from Italian cinema, and Italian opera selections.

The three CD collection features the likes of Dean Martin with Volare, Doris Day singing Que Sera, Sera, Morriconeā€™s wistful Love Theme from Cinema Paradiso and heart-breaking arias from such greats as Rene Fleming with Un bel di, vedremo from Pucciniā€™s Madama Butterfly and Luciano Pavarottiā€™s rendition of Di quella pira from Il trovatore by Verdi.

Speaking about the album Bruno says, ā€œMusic has always been a huge part of my life, from my childhood growing up in Italy, to my time as a choreographer for huge stage shows, to now with my work as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars. ā€˜An Italian Romanceā€™ is a journey through my favourite Italian music, inspired by the romance of Italian culture.ā€

Bruno can currently be seen on Saturday and Sunday nights on the judging panel of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.
