Strictly 2015 stars show BBC Children in Need support

This year’s celebs call on the public to support the annual charity event.

Yesterday the stars of Strictly Come Dancing 2015 came together in support of BBC Children in Need’s 2015 appeal.

Peter Andre, Kellie Bright, Katie Derham, Georgia May Foote, Helen George, Jamelia, Carol Kirkwood, Jay McGuiness, Anita Rani and Jeremy Vine called on the public to show their support for Pudsey ahead of the live appeal show on Friday 13th November 2015.

Long term BBC Children in Need supporter Peter Andre commented: “BBC Children in Need is a charity very close to my heart. I have seen first-hand how money raised makes a difference so am calling on people across the UK get fundraising to help make this Appeal the best yet. Don’t forget to tune in on Friday 13 November!”

Anita Rani, who this year supported the Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children in Need said: “BBC Children in Need is a charity that unites people across the UK, I hope that everyone once again comes together for this very special charity, every penny and pound will go on to help make a difference. Appeal night is set to be fantastic this year, with a very exciting Strictly Come Dancing special, so do make sure you watch and donate on the night!”

BBC Children in Need currently supports 2,500 projects that are working with children facing a range of disadvantages for example, poverty and deprivation; children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect or disabled young people.
