Martin Fowler (James Bye) is heading back to Albert Square to deal with his marital issues.
Martin was last seen in Albert Square in 2007 and was played by James Alexandrou. James Bye has taken over the role after Alexandrou decided not to return to the soap.
Fans have seen Sonia complaining in recent weeks that her marriage to Martin was going nowhere and that the spark had gone between them.
The character will return on Friday 5th December 2014 to confront Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) after she collapses in The Vic. Martin and Sonia finally talk to each other about their feelings and question if they still love each other. What’s the future for the Fowlers?
