OK Go return with another epic video, which premiered in the US this week. The video was shot in the Chiba Prefecture in Japan this summer. Whilst preparing for their latest album OK Go approached Honda through their friend, Morihiro Harano (Mori Inc.) in order to produce a music video. The result is the video, which you can what here and was shot using a custom multi-copter camera developed for the project.
I Won’t Let You Down was directed by OK Go’s Damian Kulash and Kazuaki Seki and creative direction from Morihiro Harano.
OK Go’s award winning videos are only a small part of their DIY trans-media mini-empire (Paracadute). Probably the first band to use the Internet as a medium of art not just commerce the band are always keeping tricks of their sleeves.
Single I Won’t Let You Down is taken from the album Hungry Ghosts which is due on 16th February 2015 through Paracadute / BMG and will perfrom a one off show at London’s Koko on 13th February 2015.
