Casualty star Sunetra Sarker is the latest celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Sunetra who plays Dr. Zoe Hanna in the BBC One medical drama joins the previously announced line-up of Mark Wright, Thom Evans, Simon Webbe, Alison Hammond, Judy Murray and Frankie Bridge.
Speaking about taking part in Strictly Sunetra said: “I don't quite know what I've let myself in for… I'm in total denial! But the chance to swap my stethoscope for sequins was just too tempting. I am very excited to be part of the Strictly team!”
The actress has also starred in Doctor Who, No Angels and Brookside.
Eight more celebrities are to be announced in the coming days and Strictly Come Dancing is due to return in September.
