Luke Sital-Singh will has released new EP Film Songs exclusively on Spotify.
The new EP comes in the run-up to the release of Luke’s debut album The Fire Inside which will be released on 18th August 2014. Film Songs finds Luke putting his own take on classic movie songs from his own personal favourite movies.
Talking about the release Luke says, “One of the great things about music is its way of enhancing the experiences and emotions we all go through. Basically how great songs soundtrack our lives. What would life be like without soundtracks? Can you imagine your favourite film without that bit with that song? It doesn’t bear thinking about.”
The EP’s artwork has been created by Eric Chase Anderson, the brother of Luke’s favourite director Wes Anderson.
Luke is planning to perform a few special cinema shows in support of the EP with details expected to be released soon.
