Empire Leicester Square has opened its brand new IMAX screen today in its flagship London cinema.
Tom Cruise’s new futuristic sci-fi thriller Edge of Tomorrow is kicking things off in glorious IMAX 3D. Empire’s Screen 1 has been completely transformed with the installation of the ground-breaking, crystal-clear digital projection and cutting-edge sound technology.

The new IMAX screen means that cinemagoers will be able to see red carpet premieres of IMAX films at Empire Leicester Square for the first time.
