One Direction have launched a new competition to tie-in with the release of their new single You & I.
The band is asking their fans to make their own remix of the track ahead of the single release on 25th May. To get fans creative juices flowing, Liam Payne has done his own remix of the song and you can hear a clip of it at the bottom of this article.
From today fans can get the vocal stems from the song from the band’s SoundCloud at https://soundcloud.com/onedirectionmusic/ Once their remix is complete they can upload it to the You & I remixes group where Liam will playlist his favourite mixes each week.
You & I was written by Julian Bunetta, Jamie Scott and John Ryan who were the creative force behind the band’s huge smash Story Of My Life. The video for the track will go live on 18th April and is directed by Ben Winston.
You & I will be released as a single bundle download featuring previously unheard alternate versions of the song and Liam’s Big Payno remix.
