She is the award winning Icelandic musician with a love for eclectic music and bonkers fashion; he is Britain’s greatest living naturalist and an established national treasure. Despite diametrically-opposed careers, Björk and Sir David Attenborough teamed up to make a documentary focussing on the world of nature, technology and music.

On 5th May the critically acclaimed documentary titled When Björk met Attenborough will be released on DVD format internationally via One Little Indian.

Originally screened in the UK last summer on Channel 4, The Nature of Music is a one hour long documentary, which follows eccentric performer Björk and renowned broadcaster David Attenborough, as they investigate and discuss the long standing connection which exists between music and nature.

Narrated by actress Tilda Swinton and inspired by Björk’s technological project Biophilia, for which Attenborough provided a spoken introduction, the film enables viewers to witness a unique encounter between two of the most iconic thinkers of our time.
