Adam Lambert returns to American Idol

The singer returns to the show as a mentor.

Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert returned to American Idol last night in the US as a mentor.

Fans saw Adam working with the contestants over the course of the episode giving them advice and helping them to fine-tune their performances.

During a mentoring session with Majesty Rose, who said that Adam was her favourite ever American Idol contestant, Adam gave her advice as she practised for her performance of Pharrell’s Happy. He told her ‘it feels like you’re kinda rushing it a little bit’ before telling her to make the performance a bit ‘easier’.

Adam has been busy recording his third studio album and appearing on hit FOX show Glee, which he’s due to return to for more episodes when the show resumes in the US on 25th February.
