The road is getting bumpy for our two favourite fictional ladies of country music isn’t it?
Tonight saw new Edgehill CEO Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson) shake things up with both Rayna (Connie Britton) and Juliette (Hayden Panettiere). For Rayna Jeff is desperate to capitalise on her near fatal accident and steal Will (Chris Carmack) from her label, and with Juliette he has different ideas than she does about what music she should be making.
To make matters worse for Juliette she’s having to content with Jeff’s new favourite artist Layla Grant (Aubrey Peeples) who won a TV reality show. This is not going to end well at all is it?
In the next episode, I Don’t Wanna Talk About It Now, Rayna and Teddy’s (Eric Close) divorce is finalised, Juliette takes a high-paying private gig at a rich couple’s anniversary party, and Liam (Michiel Huisman) returns.
