Philip Seymour Hoffman has been found dead in New York it has been reported.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that the award-winning actor was found dead this afternoon in his New York City apartment. They state a law-enforcement official as the source that confirmed the story.
At present there has been no official confirmation from the actor’s family or his representatives. He was aged 46 and the cause of death is unknown at this point.
Hoffman picked up an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in 2005 film Capote. We’ll have more news as it’s confirmed.
