You may have noticed that there’s been an unfamiliar face dancing with the Strictly professionals this weekend in the absence of Robin Windsor who is injured.
The dancer is question is German-born Patrick Helm who some dance fans will know was part of the West End Burn the Floor cast alongside Robin Windsor, Kristina Rihanoff, Karen Hauer and Kevin Clifton earlier this year. He has also been part of the show’s Braodway run too and anyone who’s seen the show will know only the finest dancers can hack it.
Next year Patrick will be hitting the road with Brendan Cole for the Strictly pro’s License To Thrill tour which will be visiting places all over the UK.
We think he’s one we’ll be keeping an eye on over the next few months. He certainly held his own next to the other pros. Could he be a potential new pro for the 2014 series?
