Paul Walker dies in tragic car crash

The talented star of the Fast & Furious franchise has passed away aged 40.

The Fast & Furious star Paul Walker has died tragically in a car crash, it was reported in the early hours of this morning.

Walker was a passenger in a friend’s car and was attending a charity event when the accident took place. Police are still investigating the incident but both passengers are said to have been pronounced dead on the scene.

“Sadly, I must confirm that Paul did pass away this afternoon in a car accident,” Ame Van Iden, Walker’s publicist confirmed a few hours ago.

Walker had appeared in over 40  films but became a household name as Brian O’Conner in 2001’s The Fast & The Furious. He was 40 years old.

Stars took to social media to pay their respects including his friend and co-star of the Fast & Furious franchise, Vin Diesel, who said;

“Brother I will miss you very much, I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace.”
