Our Top 5 Strictly week 6 dances

Who made our Top 5 following last night’s spectacular Halloween week?

Ola and Ashley

No one does Halloween like Strictly Come Dancing and this year’s spooky instalment was the best one yet.

Last night the remaining 11 couples really pulled it out of the bag serving up impressive routines, amazing costumes and plenty of surprises. We actually thought it was hard to pick out just 5 routines this week but we managed.

Take a look at our Top 5 picks for this week and leave your comments in the usual place to let us know if you agree.

5. Mark Benton and Iveta Lukosiute – Paso Doble

Every week we can’t wait to see what Mark and Iveta do next. The judges may not have been sure of the Paso meets Disco mash-up but we loved it.

4. Ashley Taylor Dawson and Ola Jordan – Tango

The judges may have criticsed the precision of the dance but we were pretty blown away by Ashley and Ola this week. Not only did they act the part but we thought this was their best effort yet. Dark horse anyone?

3. Susanna Reid and Kevin Clifton – Charleston

These two are always such a joy to watch and Susanna throws herself into her routines every week. Her Charleston with Kevin was one of the their finest yet and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

2. Natalie Gumede and Artem Chigvintsev – Viennese Waltz

Natalie and Artem’s partnership is simply incredible and their routine last night was breath-taking. There seems to be absolutely nothing these two can’t do and we think they’ll be in the final.

1. Ben Cohen and Kristina Rihanoff – Paso Doble

Big Ben got rid of his shirt and left us all with our mouths wide open. Whilst it may not have been the most technically brilliant dance, it was certainly powerful and it stayed with us long after the credits rolled.
