We know it’s summer but the first trailer for festive movie Black Nativity has debuted this week.
Starring Academy Award-winner Jennifer Hudson alongside Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Nas, Mary J Blige and Tyrese Gibson, the movie is set to be one of the highlights of the festive season.
Due for release in the UK on 6th December, the movie’s synopsis is:
A street-wise teen from Baltimore who has been raised by a single mother travels to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives, where he embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey.
Kasi Lemmons directs the musical drama and also wrote the screenplay with the libretto from Langston Hughes.
